Walking on Sunshine
I am a long time fan of Heidi's work and once again she has written the perfect little village for us to fall in love with. Willowell sounds absolutely idyllic.
I loved Tilly our main character from the off. She's had a tough time of it recently and is now taking some time out to figure out her next steps.
James, oh James. Our male MC is instantly likeable and has a big heart. He made it very easy to fall in love with him.
I loved the friendships Tilly made with all the side characters in this book. I'm hoping some of them might get stories of their own...hint hint.
As always with Heidi's books this was a perfect escape from real life, especially when I was stranded waiting for a train home for hours! It gave me that bit of outside that I couldn't get.
