Common questions

How do I restore my purchases?

Open BookStreak → Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases. This syncs your Pro status with the App Store or Google Play. If it doesn't work, email us with your Apple ID or Google account email.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google, not by BookStreak. On iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play → Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date.

How do I import from Goodreads?

Go to goodreads.com → My Books → Import/Export → Export Library. Download the CSV file, then in BookStreak: Settings → Import → select the file. We also support StoryGraph, LibraryThing, and generic CSV imports.

How do I export my data?

Settings → Export. Choose CSV or JSON. Your entire library, sessions, and reading history are included. Export is always free, whether you're on the free tier or Pro.

How do I delete my account and data?

Settings → Privacy → Delete All Data. All local data and cloud data are deleted immediately. This action cannot be undone.

Does BookStreak work offline?

Yes. All features work without an internet connection. Your data is stored locally on your device. Cloud sync happens automatically when you're back online (if you've signed in).

What is the on-device AI?

On iOS 26+, BookStreak uses Apple Foundation Models to provide session reflections, pattern coaching, and reading-history recaps. The AI runs entirely on your phone — no data is sent to any server. Devices on iOS 25 and older don't have access to this feature.
