I am a huge fan of Holly's books and I was so excited when I heard we were going to get a book for Xander and Immy. I loved Immy's sister's book and in there we saw glimpses of Xander and Immy but here we get their full story.
Xander Wild. What a man. Oh my heart both swoons and breaks for him in this book. Xander has probably ruined me for new book boyfriends for a while. I don't want to give any spoilers but when you read this book you will understand. He is an amazing Dad to little Etta and will protect her no matter what.
Immy is such a sweetie. She is so worried about being a burden to people because of her past, this means she is fiercely independent. I really loved her and just wanted to tell her that accepting some help doesn't make you a burden.
Etta oh little Etta. I'm getting teary just thinking about what she has already been through in her short life. No one should experience that let alone a young girl of only 6.
Once again Holly has written a love story full of emotion, swoony romance and a little dash of spice. As my daughter would say more please!
