The Bet
Omg I am so excited this book is finally out in the world!
For those of you who don't know Kelcie James is the alter ego of Aven Ellis who I have been a long time fan of. This book has all of Aven's signature wit and swoon worthy moments but also with dual POV and more spice ð¶ï¸.
In this college campus romance we meet Grace, Wyatt and their friends who are in their 2nd year at Ocean Cove University. This is the first book in a new series and the writing of book 2 has already begun!
Grace and Wyatt start fake dating to squash a stupid frat bet but soon the feelings become real.
Grace is an artistic swimmer who has no time for dating. I really loved Grace. She's strong and determined. She really knows her own mind!
Wyatt also has no time for dating and is fully focused on getting to play on the first line for the Ocean Cove Hockey team. Wyatt, oh Wyatt! This boy is so damn swoon worthy. Apparently he's never been a boyfriend before but I'd give him an A+ for sure! I loved seeing Wyatt's thoughts with the dual POV.
If you love a spicy college romance with laugh out loud scenes then this book (and the future series) is for you.
