Oh wow! What a book! I am a long time fan of Detective Josie Quinn and this is another excellent addition to the series.
This is the book I have been waiting for since Detective Turner was first introduced. We finally get to learn more about him and while I still don't love him I understand him more than I did before.
I could feel the pain and torment Josie and the team we through on this case. The personal element of this case just made it all the more intense for the team.
I am really loving Wren and I can't wait to see her open up even more. I love that Josie and Noah are still pretty terrible cooks despite all the lessons they have had. Thankfully they have a lot of friends and family that can cook.
This book was a tense, thrilling read from start to finish.
