Heart of the Wolf Queen
What an interesting book. I loved the magic and the way it worked. Sorrows gifts were quite interesting.
I liked Sorrow and Matthias. Sorrow is strong headed and doesn't let her disability slow her down. She is also very witty I found myself laughing out loud quite a few times at her comments.
Matthias is a good king and wants to do right by his people. He is fighting against people who are the opposite and very much in the minority.
I would disagree with the marketing around this story. I didn't think the romance was sizzling in fact if you left out the romance all together I think it would have been fine. I also don't think it was dark either. I would class this as a YA fantasy.
This book is a duoliogy and I can't wait to read the conclusion!
