This is the second book in the Sandra Vos series but could be read as a standalone. Sandra is an FBI negotiator and in this book we have a hostage situation at the hospital.
From the very beginning this book is extremely tense. We have a group of characters that we are following from different areas of the hospital and I was on edge waiting to find out if they were going to survive or not the whole time. I loved seeing things from different people's POV.
Sandra is calm, collected and practical the whole time. I would have been a mess but Sandra is excellent at her job and didn't let the frustrations get to her.
This was fast paced and action packed from start to finish. An excellent addition to the series. I can't wait for the next one.
