This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I received this book for free for a Blog Tour in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Thank you to JB for letting me take part in this tour. We have met Jake in some of the earlier Braden books but he's always been rushing away from Trusty. Away from the painful memories. He has built up all these walls. He's been pretending to be someone else for too long that he doesn't know if he can ever get back to himself. Jake Braden can be my man any day. I love his cheeky nature. I love the teasing that goes on between Fiona and Jake.

Fiona is a sweet girl who made a mistake. She was young and she was scared and she did something that she has always regretted. After he Dad broke up the family it tore her world apart. She knows that Jake Braden is the one for her, she just needs to make him realise he still loves her. I think that Fiona is extremely brave to reach out to Jake. She knows that she hurt him and she knows that asking for a second chance, for forgiveness could prove futile. He could throw it al back in her face and she may be in more pain than she is now.

Every book I read of Melissa's I love and every time I think she's never going to be able to top this one and yet somehow she does. I am extremely excited to meet the next batch of Braden Cousins and the many more series that I know that Melissa has lined up.
