Blood & Honey
This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I LOVED and I mean LOVED the first book in this series. I raved about it for weeks. I thought about it for weeks and I was SOOOO excited for the second book. NOTHING happened in this book. 14 hours and 18 minutes and nothing happened. The story crawled along and by the end, we had barely moved from where we were at the beginning.
I did enjoy meeting other witches and creatures in this book. The world-building is very good and I hope we get more of this in the third book.
Lou and Reed have the angsty will they, won't they thing going on. Some love this, some hate it with a passion. Me? I'm kinda indifferent. I did want to knock their heads together at points though.
The narrators were of course amazing. I really love these two. They are just the sort of voices that were made for telling stories! I really hope they will be back for the third book.
I really seriously hope that when the third book comes out that this will all make much more sense.
