A Christmas Carol

This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews Of course, everyone knows the story of A Christmas Carol. It's a true classic. I realised that I have never actually read the book only seen the various film versions. My favourite being the Muppets one! I was listening to an interview with Heidi Swain recently and she said she reads A Christmas Carol every year and then I saw this version was included with my Audible membership and I mean who could turn down Hugh Grant!

For some the use of ancient words that have long gone out of fashion and a writing style that is common with classics it can be harder to read so an audible version is much easier to digest. Hugh's narration was a pleasure to listen to. If you've ever watched Love Actually (and come on who hasn't) then you'll know he has a great voice for it.

This was perfect to listen to while doing some Christmas baking.
