This book found me at exactly the right time. The concept — a library between life and death where you can try every path not taken — sounds gimmicky but Haig handles it with such tenderness. Nora's regrets felt universal: the career she abandoned, the relationship she walked away from, the cat she gave up. The message that the only way to learn is to live resonated so deeply. I cried happy tears at the end, which is rare for me.
