I really enjoyed Broken Heart. It was fast-paced, had plenty going on and kept surprising me as the story developed.
I did struggle a little with the beginning because of the cheating element, and it took me until around halfway through to properly settle into the story. Once I did though, I became much more invested, especially as the darker and more action-heavy parts started coming through.
I really liked having the different POVs because it gave the characters more depth and let me understand their emotions and motivations from different sides. Ruby definitely grew on me as the story progressed, and I particularly loved Adam and Forest. The reveal involving the two of them was one of my favourite surprises in the book.
There were also some really raw emotional moments that I thought worked well alongside the darker parts of the story. The ending gave me enough satisfaction while still leaving that little bit of a cliffhanger to make me curious about what happens next.
Overall, a really enjoyable read with plenty of twists, emotion and drama. I’d definitely read more from Misty Rose.
