Each of the six characters could carry their own novel — Bardugo gives them all depth through perfectly placed flashbacks that reveal why they are the way they are. Kaz is the kind of morally gray character I would follow into war. Inej is the kind of heroine I want to be. The heist planning is intricate without being confusing. Already bought Crooked Kingdom.
