Powerless

The community kept recommending this after I finished Fourth Wing and I get it now. Powerless has the same arena-competition energy but Roberts leans harder into the class dynamics. Paedyn being an Ordinary pretending to have powers in a society that kills the powerless is genuinely tense. The romance is slow burn done right. My only complaint is the pacing sags in the middle training montage, but the ending more than makes up for it.
