Liz is a rom-com obsessed girl who teams up with her annoying neighbor to make her crush fall for her. You KNOW where this is going and you don’t care because the execution is so charming. The movie references (she ranks every rom-com trope!) made me want to rewatch You’ve Got Mail immediately. Wes is the perfect book boyfriend — sarcastic but secretly thoughtful. Light, fun, zero stress. Exactly what I needed between heavier reads.
