Love, the Viscount, & Me
This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I received this book for free from the Author in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. This is one of the most fun books I have read.
McKenna is a young graduate who comes to the UK to learn about the family she doesn't know, while also being a Nanny to the Coventry-Palmerston family. What I love about McKenna is that she injects fun into everything, sometimes without even trying to! This book has one of the most hilarious 'meet cutes' I have ever read! It is one of my favourite scenes. It's so realistic too. It's one of those things that you know could happen to anyone of us!
Phillip Coventry seems grumpy when we first meet him but poor Phillip has the weight of the whole family on his shoulders. Phillip is trying to keep everything together and in doing so is actually miserable. Luckily for him, McKenna comes along and makes him realise he has to live his life too.
This book may be short but it really packs a punch. Aven has crammed a lot into 147 pages, not one word is wasted. You will laugh, loudly and cry those sweet happy tears. As always Aven has done her research on the location, the role of a Viscount and the pressures of being from such a prestigious family.
This is the beginning of a new series for Aven which is a spin-off to her Modern Royals series and I CANNOT wait for more Modern Aristocrats.
