This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. Thank you to Bookouture for letting me take part in this tour and for my copy of this book via Netgalley. I have been a fan of Jenny's books for a very long time and for me, it's not Christmas without a Jenny Hale book.

This year we are transported to Winstead Cape. This coastal town sounds like a perfect place to spend a holiday. Whether it be at Christmas or in the summer (HINT HINT for a summer book!) I loved the views, the shops and the general coastal vibe.

Mia Carter is a one-woman fix-it machine. Her entire life she has been the strong one in the family. she protected and cared for her sister Riley who is only a few years younger while her mum worked two jobs to keep them afloat. Mia never showed any signs of how tough this was on her. I could see from the beginning that Mia feels she has to keep the family going that a lot of the responsibility is on her. I could also see how easily someone could crumble under all that weight. I just wanted to give Mia a hand and tell her she didn't need to do it all alone.

I loved Will Thacker from the moment he pitched up at the lighthouse. I could tell that he was a good guy who had been through a lot. Will is such a kind and considerate man. I was rooting for these two very early on.

One thing I loved about this book is the strength of the women in it. Mia might be carrying a lot but so were her family and Will's sister Kate. I really liked Kate and I would love to have a bok where we get to see Kate get her HEA. I loved the bakery and I feel like there's a great story waiting to be told there. I also loved the scene where they are all baking there.

I loved the Christmas decor that the lighthouse and the barn were decked out in. there is something so magical about Christmas decorations.

This was not only a story of love but a story of strength in numbers. A story that showed that opening up to people can really help. If you need a little Christmas magic then grab a blanket and snuggle down with this book for a few hours.
