My Dreadful Darling

I really enjoyed My Dreadful Darling! This was such a fun dark read and definitely one of those books where the overall vibe pulled me in just as much as the story itself.

I loved the darker atmosphere, the characters and the romance, and there was enough going on outside of the relationship to keep me interested. It had that slightly twisted feel I love without relying purely on spice to carry the book.

I definitely became invested in the characters too, which is probably why I’m now suffering because the next book has been delayed and I’m STILL waiting for it to come out. 😭

It wasn’t quite a 5 star read for me because there were parts where I wanted a little more from the story and emotional impact, but I still had such a good time reading it and I’m absolutely continuing the series.

4 stars, and apparently my punishment for enjoying it is now having to wait for the next bloody book.
