Before I Go to Sleep

I really enjoyed this! It was such an easy, gripping read and I loved uncovering what was happening alongside Christine. Because she doesn’t know who or what she can trust, I constantly felt like I was trying to piece everything together with her.

I also really liked how the tension came from slowly realising that things weren’t adding up rather than needing loads of action to keep me interested.

The ending was definitely my favourite part. The twist actually made sense with everything that had been building throughout the book, rather than feeling like something thrown in purely for shock value, and I loved finally seeing all the pieces come together.

The only thing stopping it from being a 5 star for me was that I didn’t feel quite as emotionally invested as I would’ve liked. I was hooked by the mystery and really wanted the answers, but it didn’t have that deeper emotional impact that my favourite books usually give me.

Overall, a really gripping psychological thriller with a twist I genuinely enjoyed.
