Tropes and vibes: forced proximity - slow burn - holiday - found family - dog lovers - road trip - strangers to friends to lovers - fake dating - shy boy x sunshine girl
Fist of all, I want to thank Kristen Bailey, Storm Publishing and NetGalley. Here, my honest opinion. If I could, I would give this book 10 stars! There’s everything you look for in a holiday rom-com. We have a radiant girl who lives life to the fullest—even though she sometimes risks getting lost in her own chaos—and a sweet, shy mathematician who has withdrawn into himself after having his heart broken; the snow-covered English countryside at Christmas, but also sparkling New York at New Year's; a noisy family full of love, Stevie Wonder and the most adorable pooch.I laughed a lot and was moved (Stevie, you wow my heart), but above all, this book kept a smile plastered on my face from the beginning to the end. I don't remember the last time a book made me feel this good.Kristen Bailey is a bubblier, livelier Emily Henry, an Abby Jimenez with less drama, and I hope a publishing house will bring her in Italy as well. I can’t wait to read more from Kristen.
