I absolutely loved the 'squad' I love how they are trying to modernise the Royals. To make them more relevant and interesting to the general public. I'm seriously looking forward to the rest of this series. This book is perfect if you are a fan of the Royals but like I said at the beginning if you are not it is also perfect for romcom lovers.

Lisa's writing is solid. The pace is spot on the tension is built perfectly. If you have read Vanishing Girls then you'll know that Lisa doesn't write HEA. She writes real life and in real life thing's aren't always like that. If you want a crime thriller with a kick ass detective that you back from the outset then I would highly recommend picking up this book.

As well as meeting Grace and Reed we also met Grace's siblings and a few other people from Oak Falls. It was a great set up for the rest of the Pleasant Hill/Oak Falls series. I really can't wait to read these books Grace's siblings sound like an absolute hoot! We also caught up with Janine and Boyd (Touched by Love) as well as Sophie's family (Brett) which I enjoyed. I love that Melissa's books are all connected it makes it feel like more real and like I'm catching up on old friends and meeting new ones with every story.

Once again Holly had me feeling all the emotions. I was laughing, I was crying, I was angry, I was stressed and I was very very happy. I honestly cannot wait for the next book in this series.

This is a feel good family story. The ending was bittersweet for me and left me with a satisfied smile with a hint of 'I want to cry'. I felt like I had seen these characters grow so much throughout the book. After being with them for so long I was so sad to say goodbye to them.

I enjoyed Ceri’s writing style. It was easy to read and the pace was good too. This book set up the two timelines very well. There was a lot of world building here which is essential for a dystopian novel. I absolutely loved the ending. I thought it was a perfect set up for the rest of the series, which I cannot wait for.

This was the first book I have read by this author but it won't be the last. I am really looking forward to more from Carla.

If you haven't read this series I would highly recommend it. I cannot wait for the next book.
