This was one of those books I just couldn’t get into at first. More than half felt a bit slow, and I didn’t really start connecting with the story until about 60% in. Maybe my expectations were too high since it’s a bestseller and I’ve enjoyed other books by Emily Henry. 🤷♀️😅
