A great ending to a near perfect trilogy. Somehow Joe Abrocrombie keeps writing better stories with each new trilogy released. The book felt like a conclusion to the 8 before it, but also like a setup for the final act to come. Overall the Age of Madness comfortably sits at a 9/10 for me.
