ARC Review:
My review might be a lil biased bc I read this years ago when it was on Wattpad even then it became my absolute favourite. And now seeing it getting published, there's absolutely no change in how much I adore this book and the characters.
Love, Unscripted is a perfect mix of banter, friendships, slow burn romance, suspense (kind of), revenge and a whole lot of sweetness with some spice here and there.
Emily Pinault, a young rising actress of Hollywood is a lot more than what the media paints her to be. She is kind, sweetest and a sassy little spitfire in hiding (something she didn't know of until she met him).
After getting betrayed by who she thought was the love of her life she knew she had to get her revenge and that was too fast.
Nicholas Re was a successful businessman, owning a massive empire of media companies and modelling agencies. He was cold, calculative and well respected in Hollywood and in the business world. But little did anyone know there was someone who had his ice cold heart in their clutches and that's none other than Emily Pinault.
For years it's been only her who he ever desired never once speaking to her despite running in the same circle until the opportunity presents itself at a party which changed their world upside down.
The author did a great job building the tension between the two with constant subtle flirting and small acts of service from our Nicholas Re for his Emily. With Emily's apprehension and Nicholas's patience with her, it's amazing to see her embrace herself, grow through her issues and that it's okay to be vulnerable.
