ARC Review:
Eldrith Manor is one of the most unconventional paranormal romance books I've ever read and safe to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a chaotic mix of supernatural beings, demons from hell and a spirit with unfinished business wandering in an abandoned mansion.
Sable Eldrith is a sassy blackcat who rebels against her fancy upbringing, living with her sister until she passed away from an illness. Grieving over her sister. One drunken night, she decides to revisit her childhood home in hopes of getting in touch with her dead sister, only for her to summon a demon from hell.
And guess what he does? He kills her.
Lynx, a vicious and dangerously hot demon from hell has his own past. Centuries old he has been burdened with one task in hell, that's to punish the souls before they're taken to their final resting place. So when he feels the pull in a mysterious direction, he follows it only to end up on earth in an abandoned mansion with a drunk girl.
Being stuck with a dead girl and not being able to leave the earth he had no choice but to work with Sable in hopes of getting out of that place.
Authors did an amazing job in weaving the plot with humor, the brewing hate and chemistry, a lil bit of suspense, the constant push and pull in between them which paints quite an amazing gothic erotic picture. I loved pretty much everything about this book. I don't think there's anything that I didn't like.
Other than supernatural elements and underlying suspense, the book touches on the topics of parental abandonment, abuse and loss of a sibling. So, I suggest you to please check trigger warnings before proceeding!
